Job Summary

Purpose

This role represents the economic transactions of the Division to safeguard the assets of IDEMIA fairly accurately and on time and ensures compliance with applicable regulations. Provides the Management team with reliable information for decision-making

Key Missions

Full accounting responsibility for the Company in compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations; supervision over the maintenance of full statutory accounting records in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act and Group consolidation reporting requirements (IFRS / IAS reporting packages).
Preparation andsigning ofannual and periodic financial statements.
Coordination of month-end and year-end closing processes including participation in Group year-opening close.
Cooperation with external and internal auditors as well as external institutions (Tax Authorities Statistics Office Central Bank banks).
Ensuring accuracy and compliance of tax settlements (CIT VAT WHT) with support from external advisors (transfer pricing tax advisory).
Supervision over transfer pricing documentation.
Managing and providing technical leadership to the local accounting team.
Close cooperation with the Shared Services Center (SSC) and acting as the main point of contact between the SSC and the local business.
Development and regular updates of accounting policieschartof accountsproceduresand internal instructions.
Active participation in further digitalization and optimization of finance and accounting processes.
Cooperation with operational departments and business stakeholders.

Profile & Other Information

University degree in Finance AccountingEconomicsor relatedfields.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Experience gained in a company that is part of an international Group will be considered a strong asset
Very goodknowledge of the Polish Accounting Act IFRS/IASand tax regulations (CIT VAT WHT).
Experience working in an international environment.
Very goodcommand of MS Excel.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX will be anadditionaladvantage.
Englishproficiencyenabling fluent business communication
High levelof independenceresponsibilityand ability to buildstrongbusiness-partnerrelationships.
