Get hands-on experience in supporting daily accounting processes ensuring accurate financial reporting and collaborating closely with teams across EMEA Nordics and LATAM.

The Program consists of a 12-week Internship in one of WBDs Accounting segments: Networks Studios and DTC.

START DATE: July 1st 2026

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing monthly journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue reporting within the EMEA region.

  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports including balance sheet reconciliations SEC schedules and bad debt provision calculations.

  • Collaborate in performing a detailed quarterly balance sheet analysis for the EMEA region and share findings with finance leaders including the WBD Chief Accounting Officer.

  • Provide active support for the implementation of internal controls in line with the SOX framework.

  • Assist with both internal and external audit procedures as required.

  • Manage Film and Series assets and amortization for various WBD channels including but not limited to TVN Discovery Animal Planet and Eurosport.

  • Participate in Fixed Assets Accounting including asset capitalization depreciation and periodic reviews; reconciling intercompany balances and resolving differences; analyzing accruals and prepayments.

Qualifications:

  • Currently in the final year of a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting Finance or a related field.

  • Strong foundation in core accounting principles financial analysis and financial reporting.

  • Active involvement in student organizations demonstrating initiative and leadership potential.

  • Excellent communication skills including written verbal and presentation abilities.

  • A proactive openminded and motivated approach to learning and professional development.

  • A strong analytical mindset paired with advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Fluency in both English and Polish.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model that combines remote and in-office work following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
