Get hands-on experience in supporting daily accounting processes ensuring accurate financial reporting and collaborating closely with teams across EMEA Nordics and LATAM.
The Program consists of a 12-week Internship in one of WBDs Accounting segments: Networks Studios and DTC.
START DATE: July 1st 2026
Your responsibilities:
Assist in preparing monthly journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue reporting within the EMEA region.
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports including balance sheet reconciliations SEC schedules and bad debt provision calculations.
Collaborate in performing a detailed quarterly balance sheet analysis for the EMEA region and share findings with finance leaders including the WBD Chief Accounting Officer.
Provide active support for the implementation of internal controls in line with the SOX framework.
Assist with both internal and external audit procedures as required.
Manage Film and Series assets and amortization for various WBD channels including but not limited to TVN Discovery Animal Planet and Eurosport.
Participate in Fixed Assets Accounting including asset capitalization depreciation and periodic reviews; reconciling intercompany balances and resolving differences; analyzing accruals and prepayments.
Qualifications:
Currently in the final year of a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Strong foundation in core accounting principles financial analysis and financial reporting.
Active involvement in student organizations demonstrating initiative and leadership potential.
Excellent communication skills including written verbal and presentation abilities.
A proactive openminded and motivated approach to learning and professional development.
A strong analytical mindset paired with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Fluency in both English and Polish.
