What youll be doing

CIBCs Technology Infrastructure & Innovation team is hiring for Business Analyst Co-Ops! As a Business Analyst you will use your communication content creation and coordination skills to support the team in different projects identify areas of opportunity and conduct analysis that will help process improvements. Join our team and stretch your communications and evaluation skills to help enhance the banking experience for the modern world. You will help synthesize technology and assist with improvements across channels products multiple businesses for CIBC employees ultimately helping further define strategy.   • We may ask you to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (such as simulation coding French proficiency MS Office). Our goal for the application process is to get to know more about you all that you have to offer and give you the opportunity to learn more about us.
  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for a role.

  • This is a 4 month co-op opportunity.

How youll succeed

  • Planning and coordination: Interact with team members and stakeholders to encourage engagement and connection. You prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks concurrently with strong organization skills.
  • Initiatives: You will be involved with planning and execution of communications and employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Strong research capabilities- You will research effective engagement practices and participate in strategic planning of best practices for long term improvement
  • Data analysis: Analyze data/situations fully and accurately to guide or reach productive decisions.
  • Process Improvement: You enjoy the process of researching current processes and identifying improvements that will optimize or improve standards
  • Enable new opportunities: Assess market and emerging trends and opportunities for improved experiences.
  • Solution Design - Work closely with Business Partners to guide formulation of business requirements and solution design discussions to meet project needs.
  • Relationship Building Establishing relationships with Business Partners Colleagues and Managers to ensure strong partnerships and cooperative learning spaces.
