Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Property & Asset Protection Coordinator Co-op to join our dynamic team for a major transportation infrastructure project.

The salary range for this position is $50000 - $55000. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Client and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain effective tracking of Lands Property and Asset Protection items including PTE agreement status and terms lands handover statuses and completion of scopes on third-party lands.
  • Assist in initial outreach and agreement negotiations with neighbouring properties and business owners across the Project.
  • Coordinate with internal teams subcontractors and property owners to schedule and execute required works in third-party lands within the vicinity of the project.
  • Collaborate with implementation project management and design teams to review assemble and return Adjacent Developer Review (ADR) packages on a timely basis.
  • Track and ensure compliance to third-party PTE agreement terms and work with internal teams to generate and provide required deliverables.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of third-party risk mitigation processes.

Qualifications :

  • Currently enrolled in relevant a program such as Business Administration Project Management Urban & Regional Planning Communications Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 1 year of experience in the delivery of large Heavy Civil and/or Transit & Rail Infrastructure construction projects is considered an asset.
  • Prior experience working closely with Metrolinx the City of Toronto or large landowners within the GTHA considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficient in MS Office 365 software (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook). Proficiency in GIS (QGIS ArcGIS) considered an asset.

The successful candidate must be able to provide a co-op eligibility letter from their college/university.
