Applied Materials Display Department is searching for an intern to join our team! We are seeking a Software Automation Engineer to join our growing team and participate in the SW DevOps development. The successful candidate will help drive our software Tools and DevOps automation development. The position will entail the following:

• Contribution to the SW Tools automation and DevOps for the Display Flexible Technologies
• Development of microservices for Jira and Confluence.
• Plug-in development to integrate different software services into Jira/Confluence
• Software Quality Assurance testing for Digital Litho tools.
• Analysis of workflow and directions for process and product improvement

Requirements

• Student must be pursuing a Masters degree program in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field
• Student must be in good academic standing at their university with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
• Experience in Java C or Python
• Excellent communication and process documentation skills for developing SW libraries Micro services and plug-ins.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.

For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
