Overview:
Pure Technologies is seeking a process oriented quality focused Production Technician to work with a fast paced and dynamic production group to support development and manufacturing of Pures core technologies and tools to meet Pures expanding business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Complete electro mechanical assemblies through in-house training and assembly documentation
- Maintain & update production related documents with accuracy and effectiveness
- Test products as required
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Able to lift 50 lbs. (on occasion)
- Cable and harness assembly (crimping soldering)
- General shop tasks
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
- Able to follow complex and detailed technical documents with attention to procedure
- Disciplined work ethic displaying initiative & requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of electronic component assembly and wiring
- Experience with evolving production processes improvements and implementations
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years experience in small batch electronics and equipment manufacturing
- Grade 12 diploma
- Mechanical and/or Electronics background an asset
