Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for the daily supervision and management of specimen collection staff both on- and off-site.
- Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations (CLIA CAP AABB FDA).
- Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.
- Assures quality customer service to all customers.
- Supervises trains evaluates performance and assists in the hiring of collections staff.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Minimum ASCP Certification in Phlebotomy and/or MLT/MLS (ASCP)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in phlebotomy required; Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience preferred; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the following areas: phlebotomy specimen accessioning/processing registration of lab orders and requisitions. Strong working knowledge of laboratory workflows as they relate to orders requisitions QC of specimen processing handling customer calls from medical practices ordering providers troubleshooting including send-outs.
- Familiarity with diagnosis codes CPT.
Compensation:
- $33.00 - $37.95 per hour depending on education and experience.
