Job Summary

Private Family in Upstate NY is Seeking a Full-Time Nanny Who Loves to Travel

  • Position:Full-TimeLive-In/Live-OutNanny. Live-In when in Stanfordville Live-Out while at their home in the Hamptons
  • Schedule:Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm as well as frequent Saturday care. The family currently travels from the Hamptons on Monday evening to their home in Stanfordville where separate cottage accommodations are provided for the nanny from Monday through Thursday night. On Thursday evening the nanny returns to the Hamptons with the family and resumes a live-out arrangement there.
  • Salary:$35$40 per hour
  • Start Date:As soon as they find the right fit

A kind and welcoming private family located in Stanfordville NY is looking to hire a dedicated and professional nanny to join their household. They value discretion reliability and someone who will be a long-term fit.

  • Children:1 Child.
  • Home Size:You will be working in 2 homes. Their main home is in Stanfordville and their second home is in the Hamptons. You have the option to live-in when you travel to the Hamptons.
  • Pets:One friendly Golden Retriever and One Happy Medium Size Rescue Dog

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive childcare keeping their daughter on scheduleplan educational activities prepare healthy meals.
  • Light housekeeping related to children organize play areas.
  • Assist with childs laundry.
  • Frequent travel with the family to their home in the Hamptons.

The ideal candidate is proactive trustworthy and confident in their skills. They should be naturally nurturing have a positive attitude and take pride in maintaining a structured clean and peaceful environment. A flexible mindset strong communication skills and a calm demeanor are essential. This family is seeking someone who is looking for long-term placement and will become a valued part of their household.

The general requested hours are: 8 am to 4 pm Monday - Friday and occasional Saturday mornings or date nights. They are looking for someone highly capable and organized who can help create consistency with their almost 2 year old daughter. Someone who enjoys creating fun meals for her as well as planning and taking her to activities. The candidate must love dogs and the outdoors. The perfect candidate will be flexible have a can do attitude and have a sense of humor. When their daughter naps or when mom is spending time with her daughter the nanny should be available to tidy common areas help unpack and organize groceries load/unload the dishwasher and assist with laundry. Additional duties related to childcare such as: unpack and organize her diaper bag clean car seat and stroller and organizing their daughters closet/room.

This family is very busy and fun. They live in two homes year round so it is imperative that the candidate is flexible to go back and forth between their homes. Extra care for a date night or weekend would be appreciated. This family does have flexibility with days and hours for the right candidate.


Requirements

  • Prior nanny experience
  • Excellent references
  • Legal to work in the United States
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Drivers license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable with pets
  • Must be okay with monthly week-long travel and longer periods over the summer
