Job Position: Marketing Communications Specialist

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Degree in Business Management Marketing Graphic Design or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a marketing communications or retention-focused role (FMCG experience preferred)
- Experience with: Klaviyo (expert) Figma (advanced) Shopify Google Analytics (GA4) essential
- Ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders from retail consumers to high-level B2B Business Owners
- A self-starter who identifies gaps in the funnel and builds solutions without constant oversight
Key Performance Areas:
Strategic execution and growth
- D2C strategy and execution: lead the overarching email marketing strategy for our direct-to-consumer Shopify store focusing on revenue growth and brand equity
- Email automation and CRM management: architect and manage sophisticated lifecycle flows (Welcome Abandoned Cart/Checkout Browse Abandonment Post-Purchase Win-back and Sunset) and on-site lead capture (pop-ups)
- Newsletter content strategy: conceptualize and deploy weekly newsletters that balance promotional sales with high-value educational content
- B2B and retail partner communication: manage the unique communication needs of our wholesale partners keeping them informed of new features inventory updates and B2B-specific deals
- Omnichannel messaging: execute high-impact SMS and WhatsApp marketing campaigns to reach our customers on their most-used devices
Optimization and Brand Support
- Visual asset creation: use Figma to design professional mobile-first email templates and digital assets that align with our creative brand identity
- Content and copywriting: research and write engaging blog posts and educational content to establish the business as a thought leader in the nicotine alternative space
- Analytics and A/B testing: monitor performance via Klaviyo and GA4
- Run continuous A/B tests on subject lines layouts and send times to optimize ROI
- Lead capture and conversion: continuously optimize our signup forms and landing pages to maximize subscriber growth and conversion rates
- Segmentation and personalization: Implement advanced list hygiene and segmentation strategies to ensure high deliverability and hyper-relevant messaging
