Raytheons Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) SBU in El Segundo CA is seeking a Software Engineer II to be part of their Space Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance development teams.

What You Will Do:

Design develop test deliver and maintain software for cutting ground software.
Work with talented teams of engineers architects and leaders in an Agile environment.
Work on and learn a breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
Work onsite in El Segundo CA.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience developing software using C and Python.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Current transferable Secret Clearance.
Experience in embedded software development
Knowledge of MLflow.
Knowledge of data science.

The salary range for this role is 75800 USD - 144200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
