Manager, Product Management Payments and Fraud Foundations

Payments & Fraud is focused on providing best in class payments & fraud experience across all stakeholders of the Capital One Travel business - customers suppliers and agents.

The Product Manager on our Payments & Fraud Foundations team will own the overall payments and fraud platforms including all our services that enable pay-ins payouts and fraud checks and will be responsible for building maintaining and improving the API interfaces to these services that will be used across all internal teams. They will own all third party integrations and will be responsible for building resilience and redundancies to maintain our platform SLAs.

In this role you will:

• Own the payments & fraud platforms end to end and be the SME to all other COT and C1 teams

• Define and prioritize the roadmap and investment areas for payments & fraud

• Work closely with business data and engineering teams to define build and deliver product features - from creating business cases to development release and gathering feedback

• Create the path to synergize COT payments & fraud with the other Capital One products and services to operate as one cohesive unit

• Work closely with finance and CX teams to ensure they have the right tooling to serve our customers and suppliers

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

  • A Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Masters Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics Economics Operations Research Analytics Mathematics Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Mechanical Engineering Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
