Description

Clean Harbors is seeking anInSite QA/QC Manager to ensure InSite programs comply with regional standards established by the National QC/QA Manager with a focus on auditing compliance and operational excellence across multiple sites.

Primarily supporting facilities in the Carolinas and Virginia with the flexibility to assist in the Midwest and Western regions as needed. This role also includes support for other waste-related tasks that may arise and will require up to 75% travel.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish baseline audit protocols for new waste programs and document site-specific compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to track corrective actions and communicate lessons learned.
  • Conduct site evaluations and compliance assessments using MS Forms.
  • Visit and assess top five customers per region.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint documentation including JHAs SOPs Operations Manual and HASP.
  • Perform monthly Best-in-Class in-person assessments.
  • Support program implementations startups and new-hire onboarding.
  • Provide operational coverage during LOA terminations and PTO ensuring compliant waste packaging profiling and labeling prior to shipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of hazardous waste experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with customers.

  • Valid drivers license required.

  • Working knowledge of applicable regulations including RCRA DOT TSCA and related requirements.

  • Ability to develop and deliver training related to environmental health safety and hazardous materials management.

  • Familiarity with federal and state regulatory requirements for Small and Large Quantity Generators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology Environmental Science or a related field.
