This position also provides dedicated time for program development program recruitment and advisory board engagement empowering you to shape your programs trajectory. Time will also be allocated for attending recruitment events supporting students after school on CTE skill development and planning integration are available through FC 400 and FC :BHS Faculty MemberFamiliarity with national and state CTE frameworksExperience with Vocational and Career & Technical Education curriculum formatsUnderstanding of the Carl D. Perkins Act and Chapter 74 Program requirementsWillingness to engage with community and business partnersAbility to attend relevant community industry and local CTE eventsWillingness to present findings and make recommendations for program improvementDuties and Responsibilities:Attend regularly scheduled after-school meetingsParticipate in CTE Advisory Board meetingsRepresent the program at recruitment eventsReview and update curriculum in standardized format to meet DESE requirementsAnalyze program offerings against current trends and job outlook to identify viable career pathways including certifications Dual Enrollment internships and employment opportunitiesComplete assigned work to advance the overall CTE agendaWork must be completed by June 30th : Contractual Rate FUNDING SOURCE: Grant Funded (FC 400 and 0419 ) NOT TO EXCEED 25 HOURS PER TEACHER
