EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in computer science public or business administration accounting mathematics or a related field.
Substitution:Work experience may be substituted for the Bachelors degree on a year-for-year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge skills and analytical ability normally gained from attainment of a Bachelors degree.
For example:
1. Four (4) years of professional work experience in any occupation may substitute for a general bachelors degree.
2. Four (4) years of general work experience (does not need to be professional level experience) in computer science information technology management information systems (MIS) or similar area may substitute for a general bachelors degree.
The education requirement must be met at the time of application.Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at an accredited college/university in the United order to receive credit for the education proper documentation e.g. a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two (2) years of experience in the analysis of operating practices methods and procedures one of which shall have involved the conduct of feasibility studies and the analysis and design of information technology systems for the processing of dataAND six months of the two years of experience described above must have been in the specialty area of cybersecurity.
