POSITION OBJECTIVE: The job of Teacher on Assignment is done for the purpose(s) of assisting and supporting teachers staff and administration.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.) |
- Facilitator of Meetings for Teachers
- Mentor Teachers (New and experienced)
- Support Administrators of teacher
- Work on Curriculum Mapping with teachers and team
- Update Curriculum Maps on district Website
- Attend along with team state and national conferences
- Work closely with the team to develop PD for teachers and Paras
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education & Experiences: (positon in this class typically require) Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution AZ Department of Education Teaching Certificate DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card |

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: reaching standing walking finger dexterity grasping talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions. Medium Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time the job is rated for Light Work.
