Program Overview: TechnoServe NOVA EdTech
Building on a successful initiative that harnessed social media and emerging educational technologies to support thousands of entrepreneurs in developing countries TechnoServe has launched a fully digital entrepreneurship development model designed to dramatically scale impact: NOVA EdTech. This online-based education initiative aims to enhance management skills among micro and small entrepreneurs and is currently operating in Africa and Latin America in collaboration with various local and global organizations.
Job Summary
The NOVA EdTech Digital Marketing Specialist Specialist is responsible for overseeing and engaging with our online communities ensuring vibrant and constructive interactions and facilitating the conversion of community members into training participants.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assist in building maintaining and growing social-media-based communities of micro and small entrepreneurs.
- Actively engage the online community across our social media platforms nurturing a sense of belonging and togetherness.
- Handle comments posts messages and other forms of engagement ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Follow up with interested parties to ensure successful completion of sign-up processes.
- Oversee and regulate social media ad campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.
- Develop and share relevant content to drive engagement and knowledge dissemination in collaboration with the Product area.
- Engage with interested users ensuring their smooth transition through the EdTech funnel.
- Develop and craft original engaging success stories of our alumni that align with the projects brand messaging and objectives.
- Continuously monitor engagement metrics audience feedback and other pertinent KPIs while regularly updating the performance metrics spreadsheet.
- Establish partnerships with local organizations to support the programs recruitment process
- Regularly report on community metrics and provide insights.
Basic Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communication and or related fields.
- Should have at least 2 years experience as aCommunity Manager. Alternatively 1 year experience with a masters degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications that would make a candidate more desirable.
- Experience working with start-ups or tech-driven projects
- Experience working on an entrepreneurship projects
Required Languages
- Advanced English proficiency.
Travel:Willingness to travel to field locations
