Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced and driven Reserve Manager to join a luxury property group based in the Western Cape. This senior role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong operational conservation and people management experience within high-end reserve or lodge environments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the reserve
Manage and maintain wildlife land and conservation programmes
Ensure compliance with environmental safety and regulatory requirements
Lead train and manage reserve and field staff
Manage budgets resources and operational costs effectively
Oversee infrastructure maintenance and reserve vehicles
Coordinate with hospitality guiding and management teams to ensure seamless operations
Uphold the standards and vision of the luxury property group
Requirements
Proven experience in reserve or conservation management within a luxury lodge or private reserve environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Sound knowledge of wildlife management conservation practices and land management
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and make informed operational decisions
Valid drivers licence required; additional relevant qualifications advantageous
