Requirements
We are looking for an experienced SAP Test Analyst who can work independently and contribute across the full testing lifecycle. The role involves planning and executing SAP test scenarios supporting UAT/OAT activities maintaining regression packs and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with business requirements and testing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop test scenarios using a risk-based testing approach.
Review and understand requirements documentation solution design high-level test plans business process maps and related project artifacts.
Ensure all test entry criteria are met before commencing test execution including:
Stable and ready test environments
Test accounts and access provisioning
Required devices and system readiness
Maintain and manage SAP test scripts within the designated test toolset.
Execute and manage test cycles including:
Integration Testing (functional and non-functional)
Regression Testing
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) activities as required.
Track monitor and report test execution progress including entry and exit criteria status.
Ensure requirements traceability and demonstrate test coverage and progress against requirements.
Perform testing using a combination of automated (UFT) and manual test scripts to validate installation and core functionality.
Analyze test results thoroughly and log valid defects with clear documentation.
Identify raise and manage defects through to closure in collaboration with relevant teams.
Adhere to the overall Test Strategy processes and testing methodologies defined by the Test Team.
Work on SAP regression test packs ensuring scripts are updated for system changes.
Ensure regression scripts remain reusable for future changes across desktop and IT environments; support other testers where required.
Actively participate in reviews of business requirements functional specifications and design documents.
Communicate testing status risks and progress effectively to the project SPOC and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in SAP testing across integration regression and acceptance testing.
Hands-on experience with test planning test execution defect management and reporting.
Experience using automated testing tools (UFT) along with manual testing techniques.
Good understanding of requirements traceability and test governance.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with business and technical teams.
Nice to Have
Experience working in large SAP landscapes with frequent regression cycles.
Exposure to enterprise-level IT estate and desktop changes impacting SAP testing.
