Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing: Managing the full recruitment cycle including sourcing screening hiring and onboarding to ensure top talent acquisition.
Employee Relations & Policies: Bridging management and employee relations by addressing grievances mediating disputes and developing/implementing company policies.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring adherence to all local state and federal labor laws and regulations.
Performance & Development: Managing performance appraisal systems implementing training programs and driving career development initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits: Administering payroll benefits programs and compensation structures to retain staff.
Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior leadership to develop HR strategies that support company growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as an HR Manager Generalist or similar role.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws HR best practices and HRIS systems.
Skills: Exceptional communication interpersonal conflict resolution and leadership skills.
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (often required).
Certification: HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR) is often preferred.
