We are now looking for an enthusiastic and business-minded Global Technology Manager to drive our Dry End area (Sizer Coater Reel Calander) offering to the next level. You will be part of Performance Parts and Field Services Technology Unit under the Packaging and Paper Services and responsible for the Field Services offering in your own responsibility area.

The position is preferably based in Madrid Zaragoza (Spain) orJyväskylä Tikkurila Tampere or Raisio (Finland) however other major Valmet locations can be considered.

Your activities

Managing Finishing area Field Service products
Developing competitive product offering
Active involvement in R&D process
Globally supporting solution creation for sales
Setting global price guidelines
Managing and putting together reference case stories
Driving new product launches together with Services marketing

Who is the candidate we are looking for

Bachelors degree in engineering related science required with a Masters degree preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management with demonstrated success in a multi-cultural international environment
Good understanding and experience of board- / papermaking processes. Previous experience of Board/Paper Machines technologies is considered as an advantage
Proven business-minded approach and understanding of value chains together with strong project management skills
Innovative mindset for solving challenges and creating new technologies
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English along with presentation and negotiation skills
