An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a lateral associate to join its Labor & Employment practice in Dallas.
This role is well-suited for an associate with experience advising employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters who is interested in sophisticated counseling and high-stakes employment litigation within a nationally recognized practice.
The Role
The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on employment litigation workplace counseling and compliance matters including wage and hour issues discrimination and retaliation claims and employment policies and investigations. The practice offers meaningful responsibility direct client interaction and exposure to complex employer-side matters.
Ideal Background
Prior experience in labor and employment counseling and/or litigation
Experience representing employers in federal and state court matters
Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
Comfortable managing matters with increasing autonomy
Admitted in Texas or eligible to waive in
