The Role
Werelooking for our first dedicated People Ops person. Not someone who wants to sit in an office writing policies-someone who wants to build thepeopleinfrastructure that helps Key Tech scale(without losing what makesthisatrulyspecialplace).
Youllwork directly with our Department of People (DOP)SteeringCommittee helping them think strategically about talent whileexecutingthe day-to-dayofHR operations. What Youll Do
- Partner with DOPSteeringCommittee to translateorganizationalneeds into actionable HRpriorities providing dedicated support for ongoing projects while building your ownexpertise
- Design and implement foundational HR practicesacross onboarding performance management and employee development
- Coordinate across functionsto ensure DOP initiatives are supported and the connection pointthat helpscreate a cohesive employee experience
- SupportHR policy and practice development creating clear fair and culture-aligned approaches that scale with the company
- Champion employee experience and DEI embedding these principles into everything from how we write job descriptions to how werecognizegood performance
- Activelyparticipate as amember of the DOP contributingyourperspective andHR knowledgeto strategic discussions
- Partnerwith your strategic HR advisortohelp you learnproven HR strategiesquicklyand with support
- Partner with other members of the DOP (office manager recruiting coordinatoretc) to advise and develop policy across the company.
WhatWe Are Looking For
- At least2-5yearswork experience inHR people operations orsomething adjacent(recruiting employee relations HR coordination)
- Experienceowning andbuilding a process program systemorinitiative.(We want someone who canhelp usbuildthe HR structurenot justmaintainwhat exists today.)
- Strong project management instincts and experience. You can juggle multiple initiatives without droppingthe ball
- Exceptionalpeopleskills. You can read a room andbuild trust quickly
- Genuine belief that culture is a competitive advantageand that peopleoperationsis a strategic business function
- Comfort working independently while knowing when to ask for help
- Practical knowledge of core HR functionslike policies benefits compliance (even if youhaventowned themfully)
