About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nations most respected hospitals with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local statewide national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated innovative and caring.
This role is the primary point of contact at the Front Hall Enquiries/Main Foyer Information Desk at RPAH. Responsibilities include greeting and directing patients visitors and the general public in a timely polite and professional manner. The position also manages concession parking requests including validation of concession tickets and record keeping of concession forms. The role requires generating reports data retrieval from EMR completing audits/checklists and maintaining brochure stock at the information desk.
The role operates within a 7day rotating roster with flexibility required for weekend shifts as needed. Typical hours are day shifts aligned with the Front Hall Enquiries Roster. Roster pattern will be scheduled in advance but may be adjusted depending on operational needs.

Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated experience in customer service in a highvolume publicfacing environment (healthcare setting desirable).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) including the ability to deal with distressed challenging or unpredictable members of the public.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple competing demands.
- Computer literacy including use of databases and patient information systems (experience with EMR preferred but not essential).
- High standard of personal presentation and a customerfocused attitude.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
