Position Summary
The Holocaust & Humanity Center (HHC) isseekinga motivated and creativeMarketing& Social MediaAssociateto support the execution of marketing communications and outreach initiatives. This entry-level role focuses on social media management content creation basic design and outreach support.
Reporting to theSenior Manager of Marketing & Communications the Marketing Associate plays a key role in bringing HHCs programs exhibitions and mission to life through consistent engaging and well-executed marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Marketing
Manage day-to-day social media content across HHC platforms including scheduling posting and community engagement.
Create compelling social media copy and basic visual assets (e.g. graphics simple videos flyers) using established brand guidelines.
Monitor analytics track performance and report insights to inform strategy.
Stay current on digital and social media trends to support audience growth.
Content Creation & Marketing Execution
Draft and deploy email marketing campaigns event promotions and website updates.
Support implementation and maintenance of the organizations content calendar.
Assistwith creating marketing materials for exhibitions programs education initiatives and events.
Ensure accuracy consistency and timeliness across marketing materials.
Outreach & Community Engagement Support
Assistwith outreach to schools community organizations and partners to promote programs and offerings.
Support marketing and follow-up forfee-for-servicetrainingsand workshops.
Represent HHC at select community events and programs as needed.
Administrative & Team Support
Maintain organized records of marketing assets content and outreach efforts.
Assistwith tracking deadlines requests and campaign deliverables.
Supportadditionalmarketing and communicationsprojects asassigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in marketing communications public relations ora relatedfield (or equivalent experience).
02 years of relevant experience including internships fellowships or volunteer work.
Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g. Canva or similar).
