Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Manager for K12 bond program.
- Provide oversight of all phases of a project - predesign management procurement construction closeout and warranty.
- Review of design team proposals design and construction guidelines schedules project documentation including RFIs ASIs for compliance with contract documents.
- Provide on-site quality assurance of work.
- Will provide onsite project leadership to designers contractors and other vendors.
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Science/Management Architecture or Engineering is preferred. Other degrees may be acceptable with applicable experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager; experience with facility or institutional projects strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of contracts drawings estimates and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Knowledge of design-phase management building codes and permitting agencies.
- Proficiency in project controls scheduling estimating cost management and documentation.
- Experience with K12 projects (renovations and new buildings) is required.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.
- Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite project management information systems (PMIS) and Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) registration as a Professional Engineer (PE or EIT) or registered Architect (RA) is desired but not required.
