We are seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to help residents improve independence with daily activities and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities-
Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans

Provide therapeutic activities focused on ADLs fine motor skills strength and coordination

Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist

Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Ensure patient safety and compliance with therapy protocols
-
Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (must be current)

Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

Strong communication teamwork and patient care skills

Minimum experience: less than 1 year (new graduates encouraged to apply)
