Job Summary
Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) School Setting
Location: Thornton Colorado
Job Type: Contract (8 Weeks)
Shift: Day Shift Monday to Friday (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Hours: 40 hours per week (All hours billable)
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to support elementary school students across multiple campuses. This role involves collaborating with therapists and school teams to deliver effective occupational therapy services in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy support services to elementary students
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Work across multiple school locations (4 total)
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
Collaborate with teachers therapists and school staff to support student development
Manage schedules effectively while supporting multiple campuses
Ensure compliance with school policies and therapy guidelines
Assignment Details
Coverage across 4 schools
3 schools: 1 day per week each
1 school: 2 days per week
Focus on elementary school population
Required Qualifications
Active COTA Certification
Experience working in a school setting (elementary preferred)
Ability to work with multiple teams and school environments
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting multiple school sites
Strong collaboration and communication skills
