Join Our Team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding this role you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.
Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain restore or improve function and promote healing
Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
Provide clinical support and instruction to patients families and caregivers
Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
What Makes You a Great Fit
Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
