Event Sponsorship Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Event Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team in Bengaluru India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sponsorship revenue within the entertainment industry and a deep understanding of digital media and intellectual property.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sponsorship revenue targets for events.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors understanding their marketing objectives and aligning them with event opportunities.
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations that highlight the value proposition and ROI for partners.
- Negotiate and close sponsorship deals ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage existing sponsor relationships ensuring satisfaction and exploring opportunities for renewal and upselling.
- Collaborate with marketing and event operations teams to ensure successful execution of sponsorship activations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in digital media IP and sponsorship to identify new revenue streams and opportunities.
- Analyze market data and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Track and report on sales performance pipeline and key metrics.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Communications or a related field.
- 9 to 12 years of progressive experience in sponsorship sales specifically within the entertainment sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in sponsorship sales event sponsorship digital media and intellectual property (IP).
- Proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed sponsorship revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship management and client service skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
