- Skilled in project governance including RAID change management timelines vendor coordination
- Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
Description
Job Brief:
Lead the internal project management for the Workday HCM implementation partnering closely with the System Integrator (SI) and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery on time within scope and aligned to governance standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Own the Workday implementation plan timeline and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the SI and internal teams.
- Enforce project governance and change management processes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate across HR Payroll Finance IT and executive sponsors.
- Facilitate decision-making and escalate issues promptly.
- Provide regular status updates to CIO PMO and steering committee.
Execution & Delivery:
- Manage RAID logs (Risks Actions Issues Decisions).
- Oversee testing training and deployment activities.
- Ensure knowledge transfer plan created for post-go-live support.
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor project budget and resource utilization.
- Track SI deliverables and manage vendor relationship.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 5 years of Workday HCM experience including at least one full-cycle implementation.
3 years of enterprise project management experience. - Strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
Skills:
- Proficiency in PM methodologies (PMBOK Agile) and tools (Smartsheet Jira).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
Preferred:
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Workday Pro certified ideally technical focused track
- Experience with multiple Workday modules (Core HCM Benefits Payroll).
Competencies:
- Strategic thinking and governance discipline.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving ability.
