Job Summary

8 years of software testing experience including deep hands-on work in both manual and automated frameworks (e.g. Playwright Cucumber).
Proven track record building end-to-end test strategies for complex front-to-back workflows.
Hands-on experience with legacy mainframe systems: understanding how the mainframe processes data designing and validating data-migration flows from mainframe to distributed tiers and testing those migrations in the live mainframe environment.
Collaboration Strong influencer: comfortable partnering with Product DevOps Engineering and Operations to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Skilled at balancing PODs individual priorities while maintaining a coherent end-to-end test strategy across both distributed and mainframe platforms.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset Experience defining test roadmaps metrics/KPIs (e.g. defect leakage test coverage automation percentage) and continuously improving them.
Skilled at risk-based testing: prioritizing what to test when timelines are tight and leveraging data to drive coverage decisions.
Process & Tooling Savvy Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI DevOps) to build automation into nightly/regression suites.
Expert in Playwright for UI automation and Insomnia for API testing.
Familiarity with modern test management platforms (TestRail qTest) and defect-tracking tools (JIRA).
Communication & Stakeholder Management Exceptional verbal and written communicator able to translate technical test results into clear actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive in surfacing risks early and driving cross-team alignment on scope timelines and acceptance criteria.
