Job Summary

  • Ensure payment is attempted for patients on treatment day 1
  • Ensure payment details are registered and advanced payment is collected prior to ongoing treatment

Respond to all patient queries phone and email based by the end of each day
 

  • Retrieving and reviewing patient lists that have commenced treatment
  • Ensuring patients register payment details
  • Providing assistance to register details as required
  • Processing payments
  • Appropriate note recording of all patient interactions in the appropriate systems
  • Follow up any occurrences of non-payment with the patient
  • In cases on non-payment ensure appropriate communication to patients PSS clinical staff and Drs
  • Main point of contact for all advanced payment queries
  • Liaising with all relevant departments as required
  • Metro and Regional clinics Preparing Fee estimates including Health Fund eligibility checks (shared task with Patient Finance)
  • Patient Drop ins answering direct phone and email queries from patients and other stakeholders
  • Anticipate and ensure all non-clinical questions are answered in an efficient manner
  • General accounts queries
  • Ensure the patient has acknowledged their fee estimate
  • Processing refunds

 


Qualifications :

Individual Competencies

  • Strong computer literacy must be confident using Microsoft Office Outlook
  • Effective communication skills written phone and in person

 

Required Experience

  • Experience in Customer Service role

 

Required Qualifications

  • High School Certificate (or equivalent) or above
