Ocean Export Coordinator

The Ocean Export Coordinator will join an highly experienced Ocean team managing your own shipments and customer relationships from AZ.

Essential Job Functions:

• End-to-end handling of FCL LCL Breakbulk and RoRo export shipments within the set target and KPIs.
• Managing a portfolio of customers and acting as operational contact.
• Coordinating bookings pick ups documentation customs handover internal and external communication.
• Handling General cargo FCL /LCL but also OOG cargo.
• Daily contact with overseas offices truckers carriers and internal teams.
• Proactively resolving issues and ensuring high service levels.
  

Trade Lanes & Cargo

• Global export trade lanes with strong volumes to North America West-Africa and Middle East.
• Flexibility across lanes and commodities is important.
• Ensure compliance in line with company and industry policies.

Physical Requirements:

• Talking hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard mouse and other computer components.
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Education and Experience Required:

• 3-5 years of experience in Ocean Export forwarding.
• Experienced managing own shipments and customer relationships from AZ.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive customer-focused mindset.
• 3-5 years of experience with both FCL and LCL.
• Project cargo exposure is a plus.

Other skills and abilities:

• Must possess strong working knowledge of all rules regulations governance and documentation preparations as it pertains to both Imports and Exports.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills are required due to the high volume and demands of the position.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
