Job Summary

Tidewell Hospice a part of Empath Health is seeking a Director of Business Development responsible for identifying developing and managing high-level partnerships with external health organizations to achieve Empaths strategic goals.

What youll Do

  • Identifying potential partners: Researching and identifying relevant companies or organizations that could align with the Empaths strategic priorities and create valuable partnerships.
  • Relationship building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations through regular communication networking and relationship management.
  • Partnership development: Negotiating and structuring partnership agreements that clearly define mutual benefits responsibilities and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Strategic planning: Collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute partnership strategies that align with the companys overall business objectives.
  • Partnership management: Overseeing ongoing partnership activities tracking progress against KPIs and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Communication and collaboration: Facilitating communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.

What Youll Need

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of prior experience in developing and sustaining new lines of business preferred
  • Hospice or Healthcare business development experience
  • Willing to drive and be out in the community developing business relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with key stakeholders
  • Proven experience in relationship management and partnership development
  • Negotiation skills to secure favorable partnership terms
