Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Benefits Consultant / Director-Level Benefits Leader
Location:Hybrid (Candidates must reside in Georgia Louisiana Oklahoma Tennessee or Texas)
Pay Rate: $80 per hour
Duration: 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Consultant with director-level leadership experience to support the strategy and operations of a comprehensive employee benefits program for a large healthcare organization.

This role will collaborate with executive leadership to assess current benefits offerings manage vendor partnerships oversee operational processes and support strategic benefits initiatives in a complex organizational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for employee benefits programs

  • Evaluate existing health welfare and financial benefits programs and recommend improvements

  • Lead executive-level discussions on benefits strategy cost management and vendor performance

  • Manage benefits vendors including performance monitoring and compliance oversight

  • Lead complex RFP processes for benefits vendors including evaluation negotiation and implementation

  • Support and enhance the annual benefits enrollment process including employee communications and engagement initiatives

  • Conduct post-enrollment audits and reconciliation activities

  • Collaborate with HR finance and leadership teams to align benefits programs with overall total rewards strategy

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations related to retirement plans and employee benefits

  • Medical dental and vision plans

  • Health plan strategy and administration

  • Vendor management and compliance

Financial Benefits

  • Retirement plans (401k and pension programs)

  • Financial wellness initiatives

  • Deferred compensation programs

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Human Resources or a related field (Required)

  • Masters Degree (Preferred)

Required Experience

  • 10 years of experience managing employee benefits programs

  • Experience implementing and administering health welfare and retirement plans

  • Experience managing benefits vendors and leading RFP processes

  • Experience supporting and managing annual benefits enrollment

  • Experience working in large or complex organizations preferred

Core Skills

  • Strategic leadership and executive-level communication

  • Ability to present to senior leadership and key stakeholders

  • Experience leading cross-functional benefits initiatives

  • Strong vendor management and benefits program administration experience

  • Knowledge of benefits technology platforms and enrollment systems

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)

  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)
