SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the locations overall operations and performance. This position is responsible for strategic planning and coordination across multiple departmentsincluding parts and inventory purchasing accounting production sales engineering quality control and aftersales supportto ensure efficient compliant and safe operations. The General Manager is accountable for maintaining adherence to industry regulations company policies and quality and safety standards. Additionally this role focuses on financial management business development and customer satisfaction to strengthen Garsites reputation and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all operational aspects of the location.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Lead mentor and manage a diverse team.
Monitor operational performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and organizational objectives.
Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to ensure compliance and effective communication.
Drive business growth through innovative service offerings and strategic partnerships.
Oversee financial management including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and adherence to all safety standards.
Maintain accuracy and effective utilization of the locations ERP system.
Lead crisis management efforts and support emergency response planning.
Cultivate a company culture centered on safety high-quality service and continuous improvement.
Manage customer relationships and resolve escalated service issues.
Direct human resources activities including recruitment training and performance management.
Stay current on industry trends technological advancements and competitive dynamics.
Represent the company at industry events conferences and public forums as needed.
Lead initiatives to support sustainability and environmental responsibility within operations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in the United States
3 years of experience in a production or service facility or warehouse management including leadership roles
Pass a background check and drug screen
Proven track record in strategic planning financial management and team leadership
Intermediate/Highly proficient Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook
Communicate effectively in English (reading writing speaking)
ERP system experience preferred
Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic means
Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our operations
