About the Role

As anAged Care Workeryoull directly support our residents physical and emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!

We are specifically looking forMedication Administration Competent stafffor our Aged Care CentreIRT Woodlands Meridan Plains (Sunshine Coast).

This is apart-time opportunity working afternnon & night shift

Postion 1:

  • Week1: Monday Tuesday Friday & Saturday (6:30am - 3:00pm)
  • Week2: Monday Thursday Friday (6:30am - 3:00pm) and Tuesday (2:00pm to 10.30pm)

Postion 2:

  • Week1: Wednesday & Friday & (2:00pm to 10.30pm)
  • Week2: Wednesday & Thursday (10:15pm - 6:45am)

Your work may include:

  • Assisting our residentswith theirdaily living and personal needssuch as eating showering personal hygiene dressing personal grooming and general mobility
  • Medication competency and the ability to adminster medications
  • Applying simple wound dressings
  • Supporting resident participation in lifestyle and social activities

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent is must.
  • A big heart youre empathetic adaptable and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
  • Experience in aged or community care or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector
