Job Description
The Customer Care team at Traveloka is the frontline in delivering exceptional customer experiences and Bots and Communication Channels are key to this this domain we design build improve and maintain a variety of technologies including chatbots generative AI backend systems third-party integrations and monitoring tools. These solutions are designed to work together seamlessly ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey automating interactions to resolve queries and provide timely support through innovative bot solutions and communication channels such as chat email and voice.
As a Software Engineer on the Bot and Communication Channels Customer Care Team you will play a pivotal role in building platforms that serve both Traveloka customers and internal users. Your focus will be on ensuring exceptional customer experiences by optimizing bot interactions and managing communication channels. You will be responsible to design build and maintain systems that are maintainable scalable and extendable. We anticipate your active engagement in staying abreast of and proactively incorporating new and pertinent technologies.
You will work in cross-functional teams and meet great people on a regular basis in addition to working with fellow engineers you will also work with Product Managers Designers Data Analysts Customer Operations and other various stakeholders. Building an application is more than just writing code you will be involved in the complete cycle of product development: ideation design implementation and support.
Day to day activities:
Design build improve and maintain chatbots generative AI backend systems third-party integrations and monitoring tools to deliver seamless customer journeys through innovative bot solutions and communication channels.
Work in cross-functional teams and meet great people regularly from top tier technology consulting product or academic background
Be encouraged to speak your mind propose ideas influence others and continuously grow yourself
Participate and contribute to engineering hygiene such as code review unit testing and integration testing
Participate and contribute to the solution and architectural design review.
Participate in the service support as on-call

Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university
Having a minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering application development or system development.
Experience in designing data structures systems (database queue cache etc) and architecture
Strong passion for software engineering application development or systems development
A good understanding of software engineering concepts design patterns and algorithms
Experience in using Java Terraform and AWS.
Experience with python is a plus point
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
