Job Summary

Locum Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Responsibilities

Perform ERCP and other gastrointestinal procedures.
Manage both inpatient and outpatient scopes averaging 18 patients per day.
Provide endoscopy coverage and consult services during operational hours.
Collaborate with onsite support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
ACLS certification.
2-3 years of fellowship training and experience required.
Active Michigan medical license and CSR.
Successful completion of ERCP training.
Clean background with no disciplinary actions.
Current COVID-19 vaccination.
Local candidates preferred; driving in is required.

License and Certification Requirements

Valid Michigan medical license (non-compact).
DEA registration confirmation.
Required vaccinations: Hepatitis B MMR Varicella Flu and TDAP.
TB screening within the past 12 months.
