Job Summary

Summary: St Vincent is looking for 4 locums to provide emergency medical care to patients in the community from pediatric to elder. This is a Level 2 trauma center. Regional Cardia center.

Rates for submission(strictly follow)
Malpractice Must be included in rates.

Orientation $half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours

Hourly $400-$410 - Per hour not OT

Holiday $Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour no OT

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
Shift type: Day shifts Night Shifts and Evening Shift.
Coverage time for shifts are as follows: 6a-3p 8a-6p 10a-10p 2p-12a 6p-4a 10p-6a. Average hours per month is about 130.

Start date: May 1st

Number of shifts per month: 30

Duration of locum need: 12 months

Facility Location: 300 Werner St. Hot Springs AR 71913

Setting: ED

Duties: 1.8 patients per hour. Responsible for procedures: reductions cardioversions moderate sedation lacerations chest tubes intubations central lines traumatic injuries ekg interpretation etc...
Our physicians work as a team in the department and routinely assist each other in complicated patients.

FTE: 4

EMR: EPIC/dragon dictation

Support Staff: General Surgery GI Neurology Neurosurgery Peds OB/GYN nephrology cardiology/cath lab urology coverage. Traume ACLS PALS trained nurses.

License: AR Required
Board Certifications: BC or truly BE in Emergency Medicine Required
Other Certifications: ACLS ATLS BLS PLAS DEA Required
Malpractice: Clean Required
Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date. - REQUIRED
