Assistant Manager, Finance (Financial Reporting) (Insurance, Big4 Welcome)

About the Role

You will be working in a fast-paced organization that promotes cross-functional collaboration to oversee and handle our financial reporting and closing processes.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage month-end quarter-end and year-end closing
• Oversee the preparation consolidation and analysis of financial statements by IFRS standards and/or any applicable standard and prepare IFRS financial reports
• Responsible for regulatory reporting (IA)
• Handle the year-end audit process including coordinating with external auditors and internal teams
• Address audit queries and provide necessary explanations and justifications
• Actively involved in setting up the platform for the Accounting process and integration with the back-end development of the main operation of the company;
• Participate in ad hoc projects including FP&A and accounting policies.

• timely production of reports
• accuracy of the reports
• team overall performance and satisfaction

About you

You are a diligent driven and people-centric person with:

• 3 to 4 years of working experience in accounting or audit (financial institution experience required)
• Bilingual fluency in Chinese (Cantonese) and English
• Proficient in MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and at least one accounting system
• A great team player with independent and strong interpersonal skill who value the growth of the team and himself/ herself
  

And the following qualifications are preferred but not essential

• previous prduction experience on Sunsystem
• HKICPA full membership
