Job Title: Project Manager (Infrastructure & Telephony)

Job Type: Contract 12 Months

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee two critical infrastructure projects following a corporate divestiture. The role requires strong organizational skills familiarity with network and telephony systems and the ability to manage projects in environments without a centralized PMO. While the position is remote candidates based in St. Louis will have an advantage.

Key Projects

Project 1: File Share Migration

Organize and catalog existing file shares across the divested company.
Identify data owners and collaborate to determine disposition (move copy or leave).
Develop and execute a migration plan to transfer file shares securely and efficiently.

Project 2: Cisco Cloud Phone System Migration

Set up a newly created Cisco cloud-based phone system for divested locations.
Identify and document site equipment requiring migration.
Plan and execute the migration from the combined Cisco cloud system to the new environment.

Responsibilities

Lead planning execution and delivery of infrastructure and telephony projects.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
Track project progress using Excel and Smartsheet tools.
Document processes timelines and outcomes for accountability and transparency.
Manage risks dependencies and escalations effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing infrastructure and telephony projects.
Familiarity with networking infrastructure and Cisco phone systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a non-centralized PMO environment.
Proficiency in Excel for project tracking; basic experience with Smartsheet.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with divestiture-related IT projects.
Strong background in enterprise-level network and telephony environments.
