Job Summary
Were seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer who is excited to build maintain and improve reports and dashboards that Studio teams rely on every day. This role focuses on turning operational data into clear consistent metrics and visualizations partnering closely with business stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate understandable and useful.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical instincts who enjoy working with data dashboards and stakeholders and who want to grow their technical depth over time.
Key job responsibilities
Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports that support Studio operational and financial workflows.
Write and maintain SQL queries to support reporting metric calculation and data validation.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear actionable visualizations.
Perform routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy consistency and timeliness of reports.
Maintain documentation for metrics definitions and dashboards to support clarity and reuse.
Support ongoing improvements to reporting workflows by identifying opportunities to simplify standardize or automate manual processes.
Work with senior BI and Data Engineers to align reports to agreed-upon source data and definitions.
About the team
Studio Data Operations is the connective layer of Amazon Studios. We manage the systems standards and data flows that create continuity across Production Post and Finance. Our focus is not just on moving data its on creating meaning quality and trust in how Studios measures and manages its operations.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with data querying or modeling with SQL
- Knowledge of BI analytics reporting or visualization tools like Tableau AWS QuickSight Cognos or other third-party tools
- Experience with relational and star schema data modeling concepts

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
