Job Summary
Greenberg Traurig a global law firm is seeking a Mid-level or Senior Patent Agent to be resident in the Boston office or work remotely supporting our Boston office. The candidate will provide patent prosecution services in software and electronics IP across an array of industries. Familiarity with software and electronics is required and experience with health and medicine is a plus. Candidates should have at least a bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering electrical engineering or an equivalent discipline. Candidates should be familiar with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution. Prior firm experience and registration with the USPTO is required. Industry work experience is a plus and experience with patent litigation is a plus.
Patent agents with at least 2 years of experience will be considered.
Candidates must have: an excellent academic record superior organizational and communication skills (written and oral) a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and a creative and strategic approach to prosecution. The expected pay range for this position is:
$150000 to $210000 per year
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
