As a Senior Product Designer in the Business & Transaction Platform (BTP) team you will join a group of accomplished product designers and UX writers. This team is shaping the future of the merchant experience empowering merchants with the best tools to run their businesses. We work on a wide array of projects designing intuitive user interfaces for merchants across the region.
Get to Know the Role
As a Senior Product Designer on the BTP team you will own Product Design outcomes practice and quality for a cross-functional Problem Space Team with influence on adjacent teams. You will work in a collaborative fashion exploring the needs of our users and creating impactful solutions for the business. The Day-to-day Activities
Own Product Design outcomes in a problem space team lead projects and contribute to problem-solving with the team and their stakeholders; with growing influence on adjacent teams.
Ensure we design the right experiences - aligning stakeholders to achieve balanced business-driving user-centeredness.
Explain rationales insights processes and standards in a compelling and engaging manner to stakeholders.
Drive team discovery discussions workshops and problem exploration activities facilitating collaboration and idea generation within the team.
Own solution discovery and delivery in your problem space team.
Apply design-thinking frameworks and user-centered principles to guide the team in exploring the problem space.
Design impactful new product experiences and features; create end-to-end flows for complex user experiences.
Demonstrate consistent engaging impactful interaction design by the application of human factors and HCI to complex problems.
Contribute to the design system by creating and documenting new components or enhancements to existing components.
Leverage prototyping to ensure delivery of seamless and delightful experiences.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 4 years Product Design experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating design process shipped work and impact.
- Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working on cross-functional product teams.
- Solid fundamentals in interaction and visual design craft and practice.
- Solid knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.
- Experience with Figma Protopie After Effects or other design tooling.
The Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Service Design User Research Front-end Development Accessible Design or Design Systems.
