Job Summary
A dynamic entrepreneurial group operating within the automotive and property sectors is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) to join their Head Office finance team in a highly visible Accountant / Analyst role.
This is not a back-office reporting role. Youll work directly with the CEO gaining exposure across multiple divisions locally nationally and internationally. The role is ideal for a CA(SA) looking to move into the commercial space apply strong analytical skills and contribute to strategic decision-making across a diverse group of businesses.
If you enjoy analysis problem-solving systems and working on projects that actually influence how a business operates this role offers rare exposure and accelerated learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide relevant financial insights to support executive decision-making
- Analyse financial information across multiple business units
- Review monthly management accounts budgeting and forecasting outputs
- Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation
- Perform internal audits on system integrations and point-of-sale platforms
- Extract analyse and present data in a clear commercially meaningful manner
- Deliver daily weekly and monthly financial reports
- Audit key financial areas to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Support ad hoc strategic projects and business initiatives across the group
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)); newly qualified or early post-articles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Solid MS Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
- Experience with accounting systems such as Pastel Evolution / Sage advantageous
- Commercial mindset with an interest in systems data and operational finance
- Confident communicator able to work with senior stakeholders
- Resilient adaptable and comfortable dealing with strong personalities
- Eager to learn grow and build a long-term career in a fast-paced environment
