Founding Applied AI Engineer

Job Description:
You will join as a founding engineer to help transform the trillion-dollar legal industry using generative AI. Working closely with the CTO you will own the development of core product features and machine learning buildouts. This is a high-ownership demanding role designed for engineers who want to scale a startup from the ground level.

What you will do:

Build and deploy complex production-ready machine learning models to automate document review and negotiation.
Work across the full stack to deliver customer-facing features and deep technical infrastructure.
Own end-to-end tasks with high autonomy from initial conceptualization to deployment and iteration.

The ideal candidate:

Exceptional computer science fundamentals and experience training machine learning models for production use cases.
High personal agency and a gritty mindset comfortable with fast-paced self-directed work environments.
Ability to reason clearly about complex system failure modes and maintain high attention to detail.
