Overview

The Junior Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling a modern cloud-based intellectual property management platform designed for law firms corporates startups and IP professionals to manage trademarks patents deadlines and portfolios efficiently.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and articulate Junior Sales Executive to join Creative Software and support the sales growth of IP Cheetah. This is an entry-level / early-career role ideal for recent graduates law students or candidates with a foundational understanding of legal intellectual property or compliance-related domains who are eager to build a career in B2B software sales.

The role involves prospecting engaging prospective businesses maintaining CRM data and supporting the sales pipeline from initial outreach through to demonstrations and follow-ups.

Location: Colombo Sri Lanka (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients including law firms corporate legal teams startups and IP professionals
  • Conduct outbound sales activities via email LinkedIn phone calls and other B2B channels
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of the IP Cheetah platform to potential customers
  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations with senior sales or product team members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads interactions and opportunities within the CRM system
  • Support the preparation of sales proposals presentations and follow-up communications
  • Research target markets industries and potential client organisations
  • Assist in maintaining and improving the sales database and reporting on sales activities
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to support campaigns and lead conversion

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Law Business Marketing Management IT or a related field
  • Undergraduate law students recent graduates or candidates with academic exposure to intellectual property or legal studies are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Basic understanding of legal processes intellectual property compliance or corporate services will be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently with professionals and decision-makers
  • Willingness to learn and develop a career in B2B software and solution sales
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail particularly in maintaining CRM systems and sales databases
  • Self-motivated proactive and eager to grow within a structured sales environment
  • Internships part-time roles or academic exposure to law IP or legal operations will be considered positively.
