Responsibilities
- Serve as a front-line resource for employee questions regarding policies benefits timekeeping and HR procedures.
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support while managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Anticipate needs and take initiative to improve processes systems and workflows.
- Maintain accurate well-organized employee records reports and documentation.
- Efficiently and effectively track deadlines and follow up on action items.
- Support and coordinate requests from multiple personnel and HR leaders with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist with benefits administration on-boarding support and employee changes in the HRIS system.
- Prepare reports dashboards and summaries related to HR metrics headcount onboarding and engagement.
- Plan coordinate and execute employee events such as trainings company meetings celebrations and engagement initiatives. Managing logistics end-to-end: scheduling communications vendors materials and post-event follow-up.
- Bring creativity and attention to detail to events that strengthen culture and employee experience.
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Stay ahead of tasks and anticipate upcoming needs in a fast-paced environment
- Work nights weekends and holidays as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service skills required.
- Comfort reporting to and supporting multiple leaders with different working styles
- Two (2) years office experience and/or human resource experience; experience coordinating events meetings or programs with many moving parts or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be customer service oriented with strong initiative and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality with exceptional attention to detail and excellent problem solving organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain professional courteous and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
- Proven intermediate skills in Windows MS Office Programs (Word PowerPoint Excel) and experience with database systems. Ability to prepare reports correspondence charts forms and other information and instructions.
Certificates Licenses Regulations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work occasional bending and crouching. There are no adverse conditions but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour 7 days a week work operation.
