Job Summary
In-Room Dining Captain
As In-Room Dining Captain you will be a key leader in delivering a world class In-Room Dining experience at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager you will oversee daily operations mentor and inspire team members and ensure every guest receives timely accurate and memorable service.
This is a full-time permanent position beginning Summer 2026.
Starting rate of pay: $19.75 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.20.
Job Duties Include:
- Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the In-Room Dining department
- Provide operational support to the management team and F&B division
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Ensure all accounts billing and room charges are accurate and timely
Qualifications :
- Previous customer related supervisory experience preferred
- Food Safe Certification is required
- Serving It Right Qualification Required
